Clinic of Matouba

The Matouba Clinic specializes in Post-Acute Care and Rehabilitation as well as Psychiatry.

It plays a key role in the regional healthcare system for the management of endocrine, metabolic, and nutritional disorders.

The clinic benefits from an exceptional natural environment that enhances patient care for its core specialties. This setting allows patients to step away from their daily routines and supports positive behavioral change. Outdoor pathways are essential therapeutic tools that complement the facility’s clinical resources.

The clinic also features a fitness room led by a team of adaptive physical activity specialists, as well as an educational kitchen managed by registered dietitians. The natural hot spring known as “Les Bains Chauds” supplies the facility’s hydrotherapy center.

 

Day Hospital

In addition to inpatient therapeutic education programs, the clinic offers themed sessions that allow patients to gather in a structured medical environment. These sessions provide a comprehensive review of their care management, along with individualized follow-up to ensure continuity of treatment under optimal conditions.

These sessions also enable patients to benefit from the high-quality monitoring provided by our medical and allied health teams.

We also welcome patients with specific conditions, particularly in the care of older adults with multiple comorbidities, as well as patients living with chronic diseases.

 

Dialysis Center of de Basse-Terre

The dialysis unit is housed in a modern, fully accessible facility located in downtown Basse-Terre, close to the hospital.

It is a high-acuity dialysis center that plays a key role in meeting patients’ needs, offering advanced medical technologies and a strong focus on the patient care pathway, including transplant preparation, patient education, and home-based peritoneal dialysis.

 

Dialysis Center of Pointe-Noire

This specialized center, designed by Be.architecture, meets patients’ expectations for a welcoming environment while providing access to state-of-the-art technology supported by a dedicated medical team.

As a community-based facility serving patients across the northern Basse-Terre region, it helps reduce long and exhausting travel times for treatment.

 

M.R.I Center

The Medical Imaging Center (MRI) is housed in a modern, fully accessible facility, ideally located in downtown Basse-Terre, near the hospital and the Dialysis Center.

Opened in 2004, the center has been equipped since August 2016 with a state-of-the-art MRI system, the GE Signa HDxt 1.5 Tesla.

The ambition is to position the Basse-Terre region as a center of excellence in healthcare by:
